PORSCHE AND PUMA’S LIMITED SNEAKERS FOR THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE 911 TURBO
Porsche has announced a new collaboration with Puma to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 Turbo. This special project features a limited-edition collection of 12 different sneaker models.
Among the highlights of the collection are two models that have a unique historical connection to Porsche’s iconic cars while reflecting their design features. The “Turbo No. 1” model is inspired by the legendary Porsche gifted to Louise Piëch on her 70th birthday. It features a metallic silver color and a red-blue checkered interior, echoing the design of the original 911 Turbo. The “Turbo 930” model reflects the grandeur of Dr. Ferry Porsche’s 1976 Turbo car with its Oak Green Metallic color and green checkered interior.
Additionally, ten exclusive market editions are being released, each based on a specific Porsche 911 Turbo model inspired by a particular country. These sneakers, limited to only 911 pairs each, are inspired by Porsche’s thirty colors from 1975 to 1977. The selected countries are the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Poland, the Netherlands, the UK, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan.
The collection will be available for purchase starting August 29, 2024, through Porsche’s online store and the Porsche Museum Shop.
