CORRESPONDENT DESIGNER, LES BENJAMINS SHOWCASES FW25 ‘ALTAICANA’ COLLECTION AT DUBAI FASHION WEEK

Les Benjamins, the Istanbul-based platform merging retail and lifestyle for both men and women, has been invited to be the first brand hosted as a Correspondent Designer during Dubai Fashion Week, showcasing on the official calendar during FW 25/26, happening from the 1st to the 6th of February 2025.
With six years in the UAE market, including the recent opening of its flagship store in The Dubai Mall, and head of womenswear Lamia AlOtaishan Aydin’s Saudi heritage, Les Benjamins has cultivated a strong connection to the Middle East and the UAE market, specifically. The brand’s global presence is underscored by key milestones, such as its debut at Paris Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2017 and appearances at Milan Fashion Week. The invitation to Dubai Fashion Week as the first brand to be featured in the Correspondent Designer category reinforces its influence in the region, connecting with both established and new audiences.

The brand showcased its Fall/Winter 2025 collection during the carpeted runway show by Cinar Rugs, a Turkish brand renowned for its handcrafted silk and wool carpets on the 5th of February at 9 PM, featuring runway looks from the collection. The “Altai Turks/Altaicana” collection draws inspiration from the Altai people’s harmonious relationship with nature, their ancient traditions, and the mythology that shapes their cultural identity.

Both creative director and head of womenswear, Bünyamin Aydin and Lamia AlOtaishan Aydin, were present. Dubai Fashion Week’s official calendar is no stranger to prominent names, having hosted global icons like Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Moschino.
