ACNE STUDIOS X KAPPA: SPORTSWEAR REIMAGINED WITH STREET EDGE

Acne Studios and Kappa join forces for a dynamic collaboration that merges technical sportswear with contemporary street aesthetics. The collection redefines classic athletic silhouettes with bold graphic elements, flame prints, and signature logo taping, delivering an electrifying take on sports fashion.

The lineup includes flame-printed football jerseys, sleek second-skin tees, and track pants enhanced with Kappa’s iconic branding. Light-wash denim pieces nod to retro football kits while maintaining Acne Studios’ refined minimalism. Accessories, from knee-high socks to reimagined Bowlina bags adorned with flame motifs and dual logos, add a striking finishing touch.

The campaign features British record producer and trip-hop pioneer Tricky, an emblematic figure from the Bristol underground music scene. Captured by photographer Jordan Hemingway and styled by Léopold Duchemin, the visuals encapsulate the raw energy of ’90s counterculture, amplifying the nostalgic yet forward-thinking essence of the collection.

Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios, shares his admiration: “Tricky’s music has deeply influenced me. His presence felt like a natural fit for this project.” Tricky himself reflects, “It was an incredible experience. The team made everything feel so organic and familiar.”

This collaboration is set to make waves, offering a seamless fusion of sportswear and high fashion, destined to capture the attention of both streetwear enthusiasts and luxury fashion aficionados.
