Roger Federer and JW Anderson have joined forces once again with UNIQLO, this time introducing a new ready-to-wear collection inspired by vintage tennis attire from the ’70s and ’80s. Building on the success of their previous collaboration and fueled by the growing popularity of tennis-inspired fashion, the collection aims to blend the essence of sport with versatile everyday wear.

Anderson expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “This collection draws design inspiration from previous tennis eras, incorporating UNIQLO’s signature functional fabrics.” He believes the collection offers items that resonate with both the sporting spirit and everyday fashion sensibilities.

The standout piece of the collection is a lightweight parka featuring a boxy silhouette and color-blocking tape on raglan sleeves. Additionally, the line includes nylon jogger pants reminiscent of track pants from past tennis eras, as well as AIRism polo shirts with border stripe patterns, reflecting Anderson’s design aesthetic. The collection also features polo shirts and shorts made with UNIQLO’s DRY-EX material, reflecting Federer’s preference for versatile styles suitable for various occasions.

Federer, who serves as a global brand ambassador for UNIQLO, expressed his pleasure in collaborating with Jonathan Anderson once again. He hopes that people will enjoy wearing these pieces on the tennis court, during other sports activities, or in casual settings.

The “Roger Federer by JW Anderson” collection will be available at UNIQLO stores and online starting May 16, with prices ranging from $29.90 USD to $59.90 USD.
