LES BENJAMINS PRESENTS SS25 COLLECTION: FROM A THOUSAND MILES AWAY, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Les Benjamins, the Istanbul-based fashion and lifestyle platform, proudly presents its SS25 collection From a Thousand Miles Away, Unconditional Love, under the creative direction of Bünyamin Aydin. Inspired by the powerful connection forged between Turkish soldiers and the Korean people during the Korean War (1950–1953), the collection celebrates courage, cultural exchange, and unity.

Comprising 397 pieces—230 for men and 167 for women—the collection blends military-inspired streetwear aesthetics with the architectural heritage of Korean hanoks. Each design pays homage to the resilience and compassion shared across borders during times of conflict.

Aydin reflects on his time in Seoul:
“My first day in Seoul was truly special. I was eager to explore the city, meet its people, and experience its culture. When I mentioned I was Turkish, the response was always the same: ‘Ohhh, brother country!’ That moment of mutual recognition left a deep impression. But why are we brother countries? It wasn’t about the numbers. It was about how Turkey fought as if it were our own war—from a thousand miles away.”

He continues:
“Brother Country means standing by each other in difficult times, with love and solidarity as if it’s your own land at stake. This collection is a tribute to that spirit. When you wear these pieces, I want you to feel that connection, the unconditional love that transcends borders.”

Balancing structured military silhouettes with soft, flowing fabrics, the collection fuses classic and contemporary design. Interlocking heart jacquards, delicate camouflage prints, and mirroring details symbolize empathy and unity. Gradient tones, intricate embroidery, and handcrafted accents complete each thoughtfully designed piece.
