MARC JACOBS REVEALS 40th ANNIVERSARY COLLACORATIONS

Marc Jacobs is gearing up for a spectacular celebration of the brand’s 40th anniversary with an impressive lineup of collaborations. In a unique twist, Jacobs has enlisted some of his favorite collaborators to handpick and reimagine iconic pieces from the brand’s archive.

Teasing the excitement, a captivating slideshow photographed by Nick Newbold and a compelling video on Instagram feature the collaborators extending their congratulations to Jacobs. Among these esteemed partners are Pharrell Williams and director Sofia Coppola, each bringing their distinct vision to the project.

The star-studded cast doesn’t end there; Denim Tears founder and former Supreme creative director Tremaine Emory, graffiti artist Futura, and contemporary artist Takashi Murakami add their creative flair to the mix. Additionally, i-D magazine’s editor-in-chief, Alastair McKimm, joins the roster, ensuring a diverse and dynamic collaboration.

Beyond the screen, Jacobs has assembled an impressive lineup including makeup artist Pat McGrath, designers Anna Sui and Stephen Sprouse, and brands Vaquera and Cactus Plant Flea Market. As a special treat, Jacobs himself will release a limited edition collection under his own label, Heaven.

Excitingly, these reimagined pieces will be available in limited edition drops on the Marc Jacobs website. Those eager to snag a piece of fashion history can sign up for notifications to stay updated on the release dates of these exclusive collaborations.
